"Positive Experiences, Successful Outcomes for Looked After and other Vulnerable Children" is the focus of the 12th conference organised by European Scientific Association for Residential and Foster Care for Children and Adults (EUSARF)

The 12th International EUSARF Conference is incorporating the
10th International Looking After Children Conference & The Inaugural
International Conference of Centre of Excellence for Looked After
Children in Scotland (CELCIS).
This conference aims to bring together researchers and academics,
practitioners, managers and policy makers to address issues facing
vulnerable children and young people, and their families. In times of
global instability and economic volatility there is an added urgency to
ensure that professional interventions in the lives of children and
young people are timely, effective and child-centred.
Conference Themes:
Each day of the conference will focus on a different stage of
childhood development: infancy and the early years; middle childhood;
adolescence and maturity. Within this framework, three overarching
themes will be explored:
• Perspectives of Children and Young People
• Organisational Change
• Effective Intervention
• Organisational Change
• Effective Intervention
